Mint Tea

You have probably heard of this famous herb because it has so many different uses and grows all around the world. Mint, also known as mentha, is used for cooking, making jams, sauces, syrups, jellies, and candy. It got its name after Minthe, a famous Greek nymph and it’s native to the Mediterranean area and Asia. It is an important ingredient of breath fresheners, mouthwashes, toothpaste, and gum because it fights the bacteria in your mouth and gives you nice breath. It is part of many cocktails, most famously the mojito. But most importantly, mint is used to make tea.
